Travel

To get to East Barkwith, the closest station is Market Rasen, but you can also get the train to Lincoln which will be eaiser to get taxis from.

You should definitely book taxis to and from East Barkwith in advance. You won't have much luck trying to sort one on the day.

If you are driving, Please park at the Grange and then walk to the church for the service. Please leave enough time to do this before the service - it is a 10 minute walk from the parking to the church. If you aren’t able to do this, there is some roadside parking at the church, but we obviously want to reserve this for people who need it most.

Accommodation

You are welcome to camp on-site at the farm, or there are some B&Bs nearby. We also have some glamping tents available if you would like one of those. These are 4m Bell tents include folding beds with mattresses, bedding and pillows. Please select this on the RSVP.

The glamping tents look like this:

Pub

There is a pub in East Barkwith, The Crossroads Inn which opens at 12. This is the closest toilet to the church, and a good spot to grab some food/drink before the service if you can't wait until ~5:30pm to eat.

Food

We will be having a mix of food vans/buffet of different food options that should cater for any kind of dietary requirements/allergies/preferences, but it will be helpful if you can let us know on the RSVP form so we can make sure we have enough.

Music & Activities

We're having a Ceilidh (which Alice assures Tom is actually fun), and a DJ afterwards.

Sunday Sports Day

Tom's Dad is organising a sports day on the Sunday following the wedding. We'll be doing a bit of rounders, cricket, football etc., so bring your kit if you want to take part.
